Is this a Preschool, a tutoring center, or what is this place?

What does your student need to be successful? We envision our space as a Pre-K prep academy, a tutoring center, a spanish immersion class, a social skills learning space.  It can work with your current preschool, or in place of it.  We would love to add in an art studio time in the future for students to learn and express through art.

How many hours per week is it?

We are available to meet the needs of your student, within reason.  Remember a child is a child first and should have some play time.

You said small group, how many students are there per session?

There can be up to 9 students at our center at a time. We have two lovely spaces in a work-share space for instruction.

Is there  a religious affiliation with this?

No, we are not affiliated with any religious party.  Though, we love a reason to celebrate anything!

What else should we know?

The tutors in this program are all certificated teachers. Currently we are all from Seattle Public Schools and have taught in a variety of areas, but most recently Kindergarten, Preschool, Special Education, and Elementary Education.  We are also current substitutes for Seattle Public School, but this program is not affiliated with any district.

Also note that we are not open on major Holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and other major holidays.  Because we are located in the Seattle District Area, if there are snow days, we will be closed as well and will find a way to make the days up.  If your child is sick, please let us know in advance so we can reschedule.
